History of the CARP-O-RAMA
The Carp-O-Rama is one of the oldest and largest bowfishing tournaments in Iowa and Nebraska. With a 17 year history bowfisherman have come to know the tournament as a fun filled event with a growing reputation. Started by Mick and Elaine Brown in 1988 who ran the tourney until 2004. In 2005 Rich Porter took the tournament over and it will continue into the future. With two divisions, lake or river and two formats, numbers and total weight the tournament offers something for everyone.
